Ten boxers from the GB Boxing squad will compete in this year’s Feliks Stamm Tournament in Warsaw, Poland, from 12th to 16th May 2025.
The competition, titled World Boxing Cup – Feliks Stamm: Poland 2025, will be held in association with World Boxing, which was named in March as the International Federation (IF) responsible for organising the qualification pathway and boxing tournament at LA28 by the IOC.
The squad competing next week includes both men and women from the podium and academy squads, with four boxers entering the tournament fresh off gold-medal wins at the recent Gee Bee competition.
Kelsey Oakley (51kg), Sameenah Toussaint (57kg), Kyle Shaw-Tullin (75kg), and Teagn Stott (85kg) were all crowned champions in Helsinki at the start of April and will be aiming to continue their strong form.
In the women’s welterweight division, Kayla Allen also arrives in fine form, having been crowned champion at this year’s National Amateur Championships, which concluded in April.
Elsewhere, Elise Glynn (60kg) and Patris Mughalzai (65kg) will look to build on their bronze-medal performances at the World Boxing Cup event in Brazil back in March.
Completing the squad is Ellis Trowbridge, who also last boxed in Brazil, is stepping up in weight to 55kg to join teammate Aaron Cullen in the bantamweight category. The Scot last competed at the Gee Bee.
The ten boxers will represent England and Scotland at the Feliks Stamm. The full team is:
