Powerday, London’s largest family owned Waste and Recycling Company, have partnered with with GB Boxing for the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualification Tournament to be staged in the Copperbox, the London 2012 Olympic venue, from 14th-24th March 2020 and through to the Olympic Games.
Powerday Chairman Mick Crossan and Vice Chairman Edward Crossan stated: ‘As part of our commitment to the sport across London, the Powerday Foundation has developed, sourced and delivered over £14 million of funding for boxing clubs and projects at grass roots level. We are now also pleased to support our national elite ‘Lionhearts’ who will be seeking to fulfil their goals and aspirations – competing at the highest level of sport in Tokyo this year. As a company we have continued our support of an inspirational sport right through from London 2012 to today, via our community projects across the capital, supporting the health and mental well-being of young people and talented boxers.
