
ELEVEN men and women from the GB Boxing squad will make the trip to Finland to compete in this year’s Gee Bee tournament.
The competition, held in Helsinki, will run from Thursday 10th-Sunday 13th April 2025.
The selected team will be compromised of mostly academy boxers however does include Teagn Stott (85kg) from the podium squad, who recently became U23 European Champion in October of last year.
Also representing the podium squad in Finland’s capital will be Wales’ Scott Richards (50kg) as well as Kelsey Oakley (51kg) and featherweight duo, Oliva Holmes and Sameenah Toussaint (57kg).
The Gee Bee will also see Kyle Shaw-Tullin (75kg) and Scotland’s Sonny Kerr (70kg) make their debuts as GB Boxers since joining the World Class Programme (WCP) earlier this year.
Kerr will be joined by fellow Scots Aaron Cullen (55kg) and Isa Akram (60kg) the former earning silver at the U23 European Championships last year.
Completing the squad is English pair Will Hewitt (60kg) and Callum Makin (70kg).
The eleven boxers will represent England, Scotland and Wales at the Gee Bee. The full team is:
