Expressions of interest are invited for an applied sport psychology studentship in partnership with GB Boxing and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). This is an opportunity to pursue sport psychology supervised practice training in the GB Boxing World Class Programme Pathway, alongside a PhD through LJMU. (This opportunity is also suitable for current LJMU Sport Psychology Professional Doctorate students.)
As part of this opportunity, there will be a contribution from GB Boxing to support trainees with course fees/supervised practice costs (as applicable). It would be anticipated for the trainee to be on site in the GB Boxing gym at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield for 1 day per week for supervised practice, however this would be flexible to suit the trainee’s other commitments. Supervision will be shared between the Sport Psychologists at GB Boxing, and LJMU.
