GB Boxing enters seven boxers for upcoming National Amateur Championships

GB Boxing has put forward seven boxers as seeds for the England Boxing National Amateur Championships (NACs) 2021.

They include Hamza Mehmood, who will be searching for a third straight national title at elite level having won in 2018 and 2019, and fellow past winners Aaron Bowen and Jodie Wilkinson (both in 2019).

GB Boxing’s four other seeds, John O’Meara, Joe Tyers, Ramtin Musah (in 2019) and Courtney Bennett (in 2018), have all been losing finalists and will be looking to go one better this time after the Championships were cancelled in 2020 because of Covid-19.

All seven will enter the draw at the quarter-final stage which will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December at the Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock with the finals, should they reach it, taking place a week later on Saturday 11th December at the University of East London’s SportsDock.
