GB Boxing take part in their first tournament since lockdown as the Alexis Vastine memorial gets underway TODAY

Ramtin Musah will be the first member of the GB Boxing squad to compete for more than seven months when the he steps through the ropes today at 16.15 against USA’s Joseph Hicks.

The middleweight from Congleton in Cheshire is one of three boxers competing today, alongside light-heavyweight George Crotty and flyweight Tori-Ellis Willetts.

In his last competitive tournament earlier this year, Crotty won a gold medal at the Bocskai in February whilst for Willetts, this will be her first bout in over a year, last competing in the Women’s World Championships in Russia.

The RESULTS for today’s bouts (28/10) are as follows:

75kg: Joseph Hicks USA BEATS Ramtin Musah ENG 

81kg: George Crotty ENG BEATS Liridon Nuha SWE

W51kg: Wassila Lkhardi FRA beats Tori-Ellis Willets ENG
