International Silesian Women’s Championships 2018

Two boxers from the GB Boxing Women’s Development Squad are competing in the international Silesian Women’s Championships in Poland this week.

The women’s tournament will take place from 10 to 15 September in Gliwice and has over one-hundred boxers competing from seventeen nations in the youth, junior and elite categories.

Current GB Champion Omarah Taylor is aiming for gold at 69kg (welterweight), after securing her place on the Women’s Development Programme (WDP) through the EIS Discover Your Gold campaign.

She is joined by former England National Champion and former WDP teammate, Raven Chapman who is looking to land her place on the podium at 57kg (featherweight).
