GB Boxing has a team of five boxers in St Petersburg for the World Combat Games, which get underway on Sunday.
The Games are in their second year, having first appeared in Beijing in 2010, and boxing is one of 15 combat sports featured.

World champion Savannah Marshall and fellow Olympian Natasha Jonas are both expected to perform well in the Games, and Podium Potential squad boxer Danny Dignum is hoping to build on the performance that earned him a bronze medal in the Golden Belt tournament in Romania in September, where he defeated Cuban Olympian Carlos Banteur Suarez.

The team is:

60kg Natasha Jonas (Rotunda ABC, Liverpool)

75kg Savannah Marshall (Hartlepool Headland ABC)

69kg Ekow Essuman (Bilborough Community ABC)

75kg Danny Dignum (Brentwood Youth ABC)

81kg Jake Ball (Guildford ABC)

Frazer Clarke was due to box in the competition but has been withdrawn due to illness.
