The British Lionhearts team is looking to make it three wins out of three when it takes on Astana Arlans Kazakhstan in the World Series of Boxing this Saturday (8 December 2012).
Scotland’s London Olympian, Josh Taylor, his countryman, Aston Brown and 2010 European Championship bronze medalist, Gamal Yafai, will make their first appearances in the competition at the Almaty Sports Palace in Kazakhstan.

They will be joined by two international selections.  Sweden’s Babacar Kamara will box at light heavyweight and Mohammed Arjaoui from Morocco will take the heavyweight berth.

It will begin at 2.30pm (GMT) on Saturday 8 December 2012 and is being screened live on ESPN which can be viewed at Sky SD/HD 417, Virgin 529, Virgin HD 530, BT Vision / Top Up TV / Freeview Channel 34.

Josh Taylor said: “It will be great to box in WSB for the first time. I know the competition will suit my style and I cannot wait to face my opponent. The aim is for the team to maintain the level of performance we have shown in the previous two matches.”

The Lionhearts' next home match will see Olympic silver medalist, Fred Evans, compete alongside his fellow European champions Andrew Selby and Joe Ward against the German Eagles at Earl’s Court in London on Friday 14 December 2012.
