GB Boxing wins seven medals at Tammer

Sam Maxwell and Joe Joyce won gold medals for GB Boxing at the Tammer tournament in Tampere, Finland, this weekend. Silver medals were secured by Jack Bateson, Qais Ashfaq and Joe Cordina, and Chantelle Cameron and Charlie Edwards won bronze.
Liverpool lightweight Maxwell's performance earned him the Most Stylish Boxer trophy, voted for by officials, while Londoner Joe Joyce was voted Best Boxer by the press.
Home nation teams from Wales and Scotland also took part in the competition. Welsh boxer Sean McGoldrick won a gold medal and team mates Ashley Williams and Zack Davies returned from Finland with bronze. Stewart Burt secured a bronze medal for Scotland.
