Crystal Barker (pictured) and Sandy Ryan are representing GB Boxing at the Nations Cup, which takes place in Serbia from 9-12 January.
16-year-old Manchester boxer Crystal is hoping to build on her success in November's European Youth and Junior Championships, where she beat Polish favourite Barbara Niedziela in front of her opponent's home crowd to take a gold medal.
Derby's Sandy Ryan, 19, is relatively new to the GB Boxing programme, having joined the squad last year, so the competition will be vital in terms of experience. Crystal will box in the senior category at 51kg and Sandy boxes at 60kg as a junior/youth.
The tournament, which is based in Zrenjanin, north east Serbia, features junior, youth and elite boxers. Fifteen nations from Europe and beyond have sent delegations, hoping to prepare for the AIBA Junior and Youth World Championships later this year (details to be announced).
